Acxite makes accounting and tax compliance simple, saving time and reducing effort. With Acxite, you can easily manage VAT returns, ITSA submissions, invoices, receipts, and bank statements. It processes your data with accuracy, applies the right accounting categories, and keeps everything ready for direct submission to HMRC.
Steps to Register an Account on Acxite
This article provides a detailed guide on registering an account in Acxite. You can choose from the following registration options:
Option 1 – Sign-up with Basic Info
Follow these steps to register an account in Acxite:
Step 1 – Navigate to the Acxite sign-up page. (https://acxite.receipt-bot.com/)
Step 2 – Provide basic information such as:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Email Address
- Password (must be at least eight characters and include lowercase and uppercase letters, numbers, and special characters, e.g. !@%.)
Step 3 – Complete the reCAPTCHA check (to avoid spam sign-ups that can affect system performance).
Step 4 – Select the checkbox to accept Acxite’s Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Email Communications Policy.
Step 5 – Click the Sign-up button.
If any field is missing, a validation error will appear (for example, a missing email address). You must fix these before moving forward.
Step 6 – You will receive a verification email at the provided address. Copy the verification code from the email.
Step 7 – Paste the verification code into the Acxite app.
Step 8 – Click the Verify button.
Your Acxite account should now be created, and you will already be logged in to the system. On your first login, you will see the Add Business page.
Option 2 – Sign-up using a Receipt Bot Account
You can also create your Acxite account using your existing Receipt Bot credentials.
Step 1 – Navigate to the Acxite sign-in page. (https://acxite.receipt-bot.com/)
Step 2 – Enter your Receipt Bot email and password, then click Sign in.
Step 3 – A welcome screen will appear saying “Welcome to Acxite.” Here, you will get options to either select an existing business or create a new one.
Step 4 – To create a new business, click Add new business. For more details, please refer to the article Add a New Business in Acxite.
Once complete, Acxite will create your new account and connect your business details from Receipt Bot. You will then be taken to the dashboard, where you can begin managing records and preparing VAT or ITSA submissions.
Option 3 – Sign-up with a Google Account
You can also sign up with your Google credentials by following these steps:
Step 1 – Navigate to the Acxite sign-up page. (https://acxite.com/)
Step 2 – Click the Continue with Google button.
Step 3 – Enter your Google credentials or select the relevant account if you are already logged in.
Step 4 – Click Continue.
Your Acxite account should be created. Next, you must set up your practice or business in Acxite. Please refer to the following article for details:
From then on, you can use the Continue with Google option to log in to your Acxite account.
Option 4 – Sign-up with a Microsoft Account
You can also create an Acxite account using your Microsoft credentials.
Step 1 – Navigate to the Acxite sign-up page. (https://acxite.com/)
Step 2 – Click the Continue with Microsoft button.
Step 3 – Enter your Microsoft credentials or select the relevant account if already logged in.
Step 4 – Click Accept.
Your Acxite account will now be created. Next, you will need to set up your practice or business in Acxite. Please refer to the Add a New Business article for more details.
From then on, you can use the Continue with Microsoft option to log in to Acxite.

What should I do if I don’t receive the verification email?
Check your spam or junk folder. If it’s not there, try resending the verification email from the sign-up page. If you still face issues, please contact Acxite support at hello@receipt-bot.com
Can I use my existing Receipt Bot credentials to sign up?
Yes. You can create an Acxite account using your existing Receipt Bot email and password. Once signed in, you’ll be able to select an existing business or create a new one.
Why do I need to set up a business in Acxite?
In Acxite, a business means any entity whose records you want to manage. This could be a company, a sole trader, a department, a partnership, or even a charity. You don’t need a registered business to get started. Adding accurate details helps Acxite apply the right VAT settings, classify documents correctly, and prepare your submissions without errors.
