Download Original Receipts/Bills/Invoices in Bulk with Advanced Filters
Acxite securely stores all the documents you upload, providing you with an accessible online archive (powered by Receipt Bot). This article explains how to download your original receipts, bills, and invoices in bulk, which is useful for keeping offline records or providing supporting evidence to tax authorities. Using advanced filters, you can easily select and download specific groups of documents.
Acxite streamlines this process with a single-click download function, compiling your selected files into a single, organised ZIP file. This feature ensures you always have access to your source documents, both within the platform and on your local device, for complete financial record-keeping.
Download Files from the Upload History Page
The simplest method for downloading your documents is directly from the Upload History page, which displays a chronological list of all your uploads.
Step 1 – Navigate to the Document Management page from the business menu.
Step 2 – In the Upload History tab, tick the checkboxes next to the files you wish to download.
Step 3 – Click the Download button located at the top-right corner of the page.
Acxite will compile all your selected files into a single ZIP file and automatically download it to your device.
Download Files Using Advanced Filters
For more specific requirements, you can use filters to select documents based on the data Acxite has extracted, such as contact name, category, or date.
Step 1 – Navigate to the Purchase or Sales page from the main menu, depending on the type of documents you need.
Step 2 – Click on the filter icon in the header of any column to apply a filter. You can apply multiple filters to narrow down your selection.
You can filter your documents using the following fields:
Document ID | Category | Document Date |
Contact Name | Payment Method | Amount |
Document Type | Transaction Currency | Upload By |
Record As | Description | Upload Date |
VAT Rate | Document Number |
Step 3 – Once your filters are applied, tick the checkbox at the top of the list to select all the filtered documents.
Step 4 – Click the Download Files icon at the top-right corner of the page.
The system will download all the selected documents in a compressed ZIP file. You will need to extract the contents of the ZIP file to access the individual documents.
Understanding Download Limitations
File Size: Acxite allows you to download up to 512 MB in a single request. If your selection exceeds this size, you will need to perform the download in multiple smaller batches.
System-Generated Files: To prepare your documents for data extraction, our data extraction engine may perform actions like splitting or merging files. This creates new versions of files while preserving the original you uploaded. You can use the source column on the Upload History page to include/exclude system-generated files and control the overall download size.
Document Deletion Policies
Acxite records all files you upload to your account. However, files may be permanently deleted in the following circumstances:
- Recycle Bin: When you delete a document, it is moved to the Recycle Bin. Files in the Recycle Bin are automatically and permanently deleted after 30 days. You can restore any document before this period expires.
- Account Cancellation: Your account and all associated data are permanently deleted from Acxite six months after your subscription is cancelled.
Frequently Asked Questions

A: Acxite retains your account data for six months after you cancel your subscription. We recommend downloading any necessary documents before this period ends.
